Software that I use on my TyTN II

After a hard reset I had to install all programs once again. Here is the list of what I have installed.

  1. Kaiser tweak. If you don't know what it is just visit this link
  2. TrackMe - GPS tracking tool able to export to Google Earth (kml)

  3. Skype
  4. Opera Mobile or Opera Mini. Opera Mini has great compression, is easy to use, freeware. Opera mobile is not freeware, but it is just like your desktop browser. Easily handles even very large pages with tons of graphics.
  5. Google Maps If tomtom is too heavy for you, it's a great choice. Also you can see images from satellite.
  6. WiFiFoFum able to export found access points as kml for Google Earth. Freeware
  7. Spb GPRS Monitor, nice tool to monitor your traffic, can be found on CD that comes with TyTN II
  8. WebCamera Plus
Shareware, but worth the money. You can easily convert your TyTN II to a web cam. Wifi or usb connection is possible. Currently works normally only with 320x240 resolution, but who knows, may be we will see the video drivers.
  9. CorePlayer the best player for mobile devices, shareware.
  10. Space Invaders :) 30 years had gone, but this game is great.

That's a great collection of useful apps. One more I would add to the list, if you use any sort of PVR software (or just have your PC/Mac hooked up to decent speakers) is Salling Clicker (http://www.salling.com/Clicker/windows/). It turns the Tytn II into a Wifi or Bluetooth-based remote control. Very handy.
